About the Product:
The INION absorbable CPS system consists of implants (plates, screws and meshes) made with biodegradable polymers and have excellent manipulation, strength and degradation properties, which allow better bone recovery.
It is made from the combination of biodegradable copolymers: L-lactide, D-L-lactide, Polyglycolide and TMC (trimethylene carbonate).
These polymers have a long history of safe clinical use.
The proportion of each polymer varies according to the intended application to the implant, so that strength, malleability and degradation time are adequate to the patient's clinical requirements.

INION has specific product lines for each indication, with different concentrations of polymers.
In the period of 6 to 16 weeks, the implants retain all their resistance. After this period, loss of strength occurs gradually.
The time of total biodegradation occurs within two to three years, and varies between systems - Patients and regions that exert greater force, may rely on plaques that will last longer.
Only INION absorbable implants have TMC in their composition, which increase stiffness, flexibility and suppleness to the material.
Only system available in the BABY version - Babies and children have very fast growth. Only the Baby System has PGA polymer, which accelerates the degradation of the material.
